About Me:

I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to my work as a therapist, rooted in over 15 years of experience as a special education teacher at the Texas School for the Blind. My time in the classroom helped me cultivate deep patience, empathy, and understanding—qualities that continue to shape my therapeutic style today.

In my late 40s, I followed a long-held passion for all things psychological and personal-growth oriented, returning to school to earn my Master’s in Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), I have been supporting clients across the state of Texas for the last five years.

As a longtime mindfulness practitioner and parent, I bring a warm, down-to-earth style to the therapy room. I'm especially curious about the ways our bodies hold unspoken stories—and how tending to those stories can open up new possibilities for healing, resilience, and self-trust.
