The curious paradox is that when I accept myself, then I can change.
— Carl Rogers, Psychologist
Together, we’ll gently explore:
The body’s natural wisdom – tuning into physical sensations to support nervous system regulation (SE)
The inner parts of you – such as the inner critic, the people-pleaser, and the anxious protector, helping them feel seen and understood (IFS)
The ‘felt sense’ – a subtle, bodily knowing that carries insight and meaning, even when words are hard to find (IRF)
Maybe you are new to therapy, or maybe you have tried it before but came away feeling like you talked about a lot and little changed. Often our patterns and self-narratives are learned at a very young age as body memories, underneath our conscious awareness. To work with them requires a willingness to slow down, tune in to the body, and relate to ourselves in a new way.
If you’re feeling ready (or even just curious), I invite you to reach out and schedule a session.
My approach is integrative and experiential, drawing from Somatic Experiencing® (SE), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Inner Relationship Focusing (IRF). These body- and parts-based methods help us move beyond just talking about challenges and into a deeper level of awareness—where lasting change and self-compassion can begin to take root.
